Sharptounge raced to the medicine cat's den with Featherpaw being dragged behind her. The apprentice's bleeding was slowing down thankfully and her breathing wasn't getting any worse.

As Sharptounge had known things were at a steady rate but unfortunately from all the dragging and moving her gash in her shoulder was worse and bleeding badly now. Her fur was noted and blood soaked. Her breathing was slowed from how much bruising it she took from being slammed into the tree then falling on the ground. Featherpaw really needed a medicine cat's care.

Vulturepaw had smelled blood when he was out hunting and had heard a dog bark, the scent no cat ever wants to find after hearing a creature like a dog nearby, and he had tracked it back to the camp. He knew one of his Clanmates was wounded, so he raced to the medicine cat's den - and an invisible claw pierced his heart.
Featherpaw, the medicine cat apprentice he loved - but with his reputation and her calling, they could never be together ((Yes, I repeated what I said in that other post. xD)) - lying in a nest, bedraggled with a badly bleeding shoulder. He snapped his jaws shut to hold back the yowl of terror that had almost escaped his throat, and he stiffened his legs, walking over to Featherpaw's side with controlled slowness.
"Sharptongue, what happened here?!" the tabby apprentice demanded, the words flowing out as quickly as a hummingbird flaps its wings as if they were one. His amber eyes glimmered with concern and worry as he stared down at Featherpaw, who was just beginning to wake up.

Morningwhisker came in, her brow furrowed and the twinkle half gone from her eyes. She turned to Sharptounge. "I saw you fight," she murmured. "I'm sorry I couldn't come. Both of you fought very well." It was sort of empty praise from the young warrior, but it was all she could offer. Morningwhisker sat down and looked at Featherpaw, and curled her tail around her paws. The golden she-cat stared down at the medicine cat apprentice. "Please don't die," she whispered.
((=O We need a medicine cat.))

Featherpaw opened eye one slightly she was Sharptounge,Morningwhisker, and Vulturepaw! She Tryed to lift her head. While doing dizziness swept over her. She had lost a lot of blood. Her head fell back onto the moss. After seeing Vulturepaw though her heart was pumping harder. She shoulder was still bleeding though. She tryed to lick it. She only got a little of it then she was to tired to clean it.
((yes we need a med. kitty, for times like this! =X))

Morningwhisker jumped up, and, without wasting words, hurried over. She bent down and began to lick Featherpaw's shoulder, trying to clean it gently. The golden she-cat glanced at Vulturepaw and Sharptongue, but continued cleaning Featherpaw's wounds. The young warrior lifted her head for a moment. "Somebody get the medicine cat," she said through gritted teeth. "Anyone know where she is?"
((=} I could make a meddy...))

Featherpaw hissed in protest. She strained and lift her head to stop the pain herself. She knew it had to be cleaned first though and clamped her teeth together. "Cobwebs" she said and pointed over to white Cobwebs on the wall in a stocked pile. She layed down and shut her eyes as Morningwhisker licked her shoulder.
((not up to me, but if you made one i think ya could be ^^))

Vulturepaw gave a friendly nod to Morningwhisker as she walked in and curled up around the weak medicine cat apprentice, saying softly, "Please don't die." His muscles stiffened as he heard the she-cat's words.
Vulturepaw held his breath as Featherpaw lifted her head up, struggling to lick her wounded shoulder clean, but then fell back onto the moss and grass of her nest. His heart pounded in terror, but he stayed rooted to the spot. He couldn't admit his love for her - he couldn't! After knowing him to be an irritable, sinister cat, many of his Clanmates would taunt and jeer him if they found out he was in love. He didn't care if he was being selfish. He just...couldn't do it. So what if he only cared about himself?! That was Vulturepaw...
But as Featherpaw began to twitch and shudder, hanging on to the last thread of life, the tabby tom couldn't take it anymore. "Featherpaw!" he cried, letting go of all of his resistance and hesitance all at once. Vulturepaw leapt to the young she-cat's side and pressed his muzzle against hers. He rubbed it across her cheek, the gazes of the cats around him that burned into his pelt seeming to melt away as fear and concern plummeted through him.
"Please don't die!" he pleaded. "You're all I have! I have no friends, or any cats who really like me. My mother and father are dead, and they didn't care about me either! You're all I have, Featherpaw, you're all I have!" Vulturepaw paused as he prepared to say what he was about to. How could he do it, especially in front of Morningwhisker and Sharptongue? But he had to. Finally, the black-striped apprentice choked the seemingly impossible words out: "Don't go! I...I-I...I love you."
Suddenly, it felt like Vulturepaw's whole world brightened up. For once in his life, he noticed the beauty of the birds' singing, and the sweet scent of flowers on the gentle breeze. For the first time, he noticed the wonder of everything. Because now he had amitted it; he had admitted his love for Featherpaw. Yeah, I love her! he cried in his mind. I love Featherpaw, the medicine cat apprentice. What are any of ya gonna do about it?!
"Don't go, don't leave me," Vulturepaw begged. He pressed harder against Featherpaw's muzzle, not wanting to seperate himself from her soft, silky fur and her sweet, comforting scent. "I need you. You're all I have in life."
A single tear slipped down his cheek and fell onto Featherpaw's wounded shoulder, making a trickle of blood fall from her body to the ground. "Please Featherpaw..." he whispered pleadingly. "Don't die..."

Morningwhisker nodded and dashed over, grabbing some cobwebs and dragging them to Featherpaw. She began to apply them to Featherpaw's wound, pressing them to the medicine cat's shoulder and licking occasionally. The golden she-cat again glanced nervously at the other cats. Her small paws were helpful in this sort of thing, but Morningwhisker was a warrior, not a medicine cat.

Featherpaw's eyes went wide in shock. "Don't go! I...I-I...I love you." was his very words. Love? But I- we- I'm a medicine cat!- but I love him too! Now featherpaw's body and heart were at war. She couldn't hold it back though. Vulturepaw the strong, brave.handsome tom-cat, maybe no other saw it but he was gentle and kind hearted. She didn't care if she was a medicine cat apprentice. 'I love you too!" She felt the codweb press into her shoulder. She grunted. She layed her head down but kept her gaze on Vulturepaw. "Don't worry I'll make it" She said then shut her eyes.

Swiftstar heard a comotion from the medicine cat's den and padded in. He walked up to Sharptounge and Vulturepaw just as Morningwhisker dashed over to the pile of cobwebs. "How is she?" he asked, deeply, looking at his apprentice, who was acting very odd. "Once, she is taken care of, I need a patrol to go over and talk with Leopardstar about the moving borders. That means I need Vulturepaw, Sharptounge and Mudpelt." He looked at the listless medicine cat apprentice.

Featherpaw looked over to see her leader Swiftstar. The best she could in the way she was laying she bowed her head. She breathed deeply and looked at the cave wall full of supplies. "I need Blessed thistle, Coltsfoot,Horsetail,Juniper berries,Marigold leaves, and i think i have a broken rib so i'll need Comfery as well. Oh and Goldenrod and some Ferns. Then a nights rest and i should be on my feet again. Maybe Vulturepaw could stay to care for me. I need a lot of herbs as you can tell." After using all the energy she listened to her leader but had layed down and shut her eyes.

"I love you too!" Vulturepaw blinked his amber eyes in surprise as Featherpaw yowled the words. She...she loved him back? She did?! Happiness pulsed through him, and a smile, a genuine, joyous smile, glowed on his maw, something he usually didn't have.
"Don't worry, I'll make it," Featherpaw promised weakly, closing her eyes tiredly. Vulturepaw could only hope his newfound love was right.
Vulturepaw jumped as Swiftstar came up from behind him, his face dark with concern. "How is she?" he asked. "Once she is taken care of, I need a patrol to go over and talk with Leopardstar about the moving borders. That means I need Vulturepaw, Sharptongue, and Mudpelt."
Vulturepaw's throat tightened. Go on a patrol? he thought. And leave Featherpaw? He gazed down at the she-cat fondly, heaving a long, heavy sigh. It was forbidden for medicine cats to love, and Vulturepaw didn't want Featherpaw to get in trouble because of him. And the things cats from all Clans would say about him when word got out, what he would have to go through...He shuddered in reluctance to step out of the medicine cat's den and into the real world again. But he'd have to sooner or later. He and Featherpaw had both admitted they loved each other, and now that their hidden feelings were out, they could do nothing to hold them down again. What was Vulturepaw going to do?
Vulturepaw smiled in amusement as Featherpaw began listing all the herbs she needed, as if she were already the wisest medicine cat in the forest. "Maybe Vulturepaw could stay and care for me," she suggested, though he knew that it was really a pleading question. "I need a lot of herbs as you can tell."
Swiftstar looked thoughtful as Vulturepaw stared at the ThunderClan leader hopefully. But the black-and-white tom never accepted letting one of his cats go when he had already asked them to do something. The tabby apprentice's blood froze. If Swiftstar didn't even accept his cats asking him if they could step down from whatever he had asked them to do, how could he accept Vulturepaw and Featherpaw's love?
((Vulturepaw can go on that patrol, but how 'bout Featherpaw doesn't want him to leave, so she followed them with all her wounds to ShadowClan?))
