Against Belief Prologue A golden breeze swirled along the warm moors of WindClan as leaf-green struck into the Clan life. Strands of grass wavered and bent under it's gentle touch, and rabbits were basking on the stones scattered all along the hilly terrain. A few scattered bushes burst green as they opened up their leaves and petals to the warm sun's strength. The life seemed peaceful enough, as the warmth spread as sun-high began to turn a new day. Gentle ripples spread across the land, and silent were the noises of hunting animals, and chirping birds. Alone, and seemingly ignorant of the charming peacefulness around him, a black cat struggled through a particularly tall patch of grass. He concentrated on the work of getting through, and even ignored a particularly lazy rabbit, right in the perfect spot for hunting. Another cat, silver, padded easily through the waves of gold towards the black cat. "Good StarClan!" she exclaimed, looking at the black cat. "Blackpelt, what are you doing here?" The black cat looked away, and muttered something incoherent. The silver cat looked stunned, but not hurt. "WindClan isn't sheltered," she murmured back. "Someone could easily spot you - especially your dark pelt against the light grass." Blackpelt looked at the silver cat, and his eyes were wide with wonder. "I needed to come," he meowed. "I don't care if I get caught." The silver cat shook her head. "I'm so sorry, Blackpelt... you should go back. We can meet later." Bowing his head, the cat made no argument. "We are being destroyed," he whispered quietly, then turned away to pad through back to where he had come from. The silver she-cat stared after him, doing nothing, saying nothing, and not moving a muscle. Her eyes were filled with sorrow, and yet one could not tell if she had heard the black tom's final words. She stayed there for a long time, until eventually a small white cat came and asked her to come back.
So? What do you think? Prologue - Page 1 Ch. 1 - Page 1 Ch. 2 - Page 2

I love it too. I don't think there is anything you would have to change. (Although there is always room for Improvement.)

Thank you, all, but one thing. Hawk, I didn't give the silver she-cat a name for a couple reasons. It adds to the suspense, and the plot. I would say more... ^^ I can't. *sticks out tongue* Chapter Uno will be coming soon, just as soon as I get it written. =D

Chapter Uno is under way! ^^ It should be done soon, but I have to go to dinner.
Numero Uno
Crowkit wavered a while, his eyes gleaming as the little kit planned to catch a blade of grass. His blue eyes concentrated, hard, and his black fur barely rippled as he crouched in the grass.
The WindClan camp was peaceful, for the most part, although Crowkit knew that he and his siblings’ apprentice ceremonies should be soon. The young black tomkit wanted to get his hunting skills up as much as possible before being assigned a mentor.
Bunching up his haunch muscles, Crowkit prepared to spring. He lifted up his front paws and shoved off for all he was worth, concentrating on the blade of grass. Concentrating so much, in fact, that he had never noticed his sister waiting for him to spring.
Her silver pelt collided with his black in midair, knocking out his breath as well as knocking him out of the sky. He tumbled down a small hill, landing at the bottom with no sense of direction. Crowkit prepared to settle down a bit, but his sister had other intentions.
Being knocked into twice in a row was almost too much for the black kit, and he lay upside down, sprawled, in a position you should never be, to catch his breath. His little white tummy was showing up into StarClan, and he knew that it was a bad position. He was so stunned, however, that it was virtually impossible to move.
The white kit’s face popped up in front of Crowkit’s own, her brow furrowed in shock and wariness. “Are you alright?” she piped up, placing her little silver paws on Crowkit’s belly.
“I’m… fine,” he chocked out. “But-“
He didn’t get to say anything else. Satisfied that she had not hurt her brother, his sister bowled into him again, and Crowkit gasped in shock. “Stop!” he yowled at his sister. “Whitekit, although I’m fine now, you’ll kill me if you keep doing that!”
The black kit was only kidding, but Whitekit stopped anyway, worry covering her features again. “Crowkit… I’m sorry…”
“Don’t be,” answered Crowkit, struggling to his feet. “But you know that speed and strength combined is my weakness.”
Purring lightly, Whitekit’s face became calm again. “I’m not strong,” she protested, but Crowkit batted her face.
“Of course you are, don’t be stupid,” he meowed. “You’ll be a great apprentice, if you can just get over your urges of bowling everyone you see over.”
Whitekit purred and rolled over, batting up at Crowkit from beneath him. Crowkit, distracted for a moment, spotted their mother looking sadly at him. Curious, Crowkit thwacked Whitekit aside and walked over to Silvertail, their mother. “Silvertail?” he asked interestedly. “Why are you looking at me?”
As if waking from a dream, Silvertail shook her head. “No reason,” she said lightly, before turning and going into the same trance – this time looking to WindClan territory.
Once again, Crowkit wondered who his father was. Silvertail had never mentioned him, to her kits or Clanmates. She had been staring at him a lot, or at the territory, and Crowkit wondered if his father was a loner or rogue.
“Crowkit!” called an annoyed voice, and the black kit turned to see his brother, Owlkit, striding towards him with an annoyed look on his face. “Did you change the moss on purpose?” he hissed.
“Change? Moss?” Crowkit asked confused. “Look, guys, could you leave me alone for a second? I was testing my hunting skills, and please, I’d like to have a little time alone.”
Nodding obediently, Whitekit turned to run towards the apprentices, but Owlkit sneered before leaving. “What could you catch? A still leaf?” nevertheless, the gray kit turned to pad after Whitekit.
Crowkit sighed. Whitekit and Owlkit were attached, and Whitekit and himself were attached… but would the black kit and Owlkit ever be anything more than friendly enemies?

I'd love to give them... ^^' But I don't really have any pictures right now.
Umm... >.< I'd like to dedicate it to Erin Hunter, Vicky Holmes, Kate Cary, and Cherith Baldry for the original idea of Warriors. I also need their permission for this ever to take off.
Perhaps... >.> *shifty eyes*
