The ThunderClan leader looked at his patrol. His mate, Sarptounge and his apprentice, Vulturepaw was among the five cats that he was taking to the Gathering. He flicked his tail to signal to flood down into the clearing and he bounded off the log that his cats had used to get there.

Sharptounge padded as close to her mate as she could. Swiftstar looked proud as ever going to Gathering. Not to mention as handsom.

Leopardstar lead her cats onward. She easily lept onto the log and crossed the river. She waited for the rest of her cats.

Frostpool and her sister walked down behind their leader. Frostpool's head was high and proud as her sister Riverstripe was gazing over at the ThunderClan cats. "What is it Riverstripe?" Frostpool asked. Riverstripe didn't see Stormwhisker, she sighed. "Nothing Frostpool." She said and trailed ahead.

Firepaw jogged after her mentor. Maybe she could talk to other apprentices about her dream.

The sleek, lean body of the dark brown tabby apprentice, Vulturepaw, sprang off the crossing log and onto the island, the Gathering place. His sinister amber pools gleamed and shone in the darkness, and his powerful muscles rippled beneath his handsome pelt as he moved. Vulturepaw had admitted to himself that what he thought about and pondered doing were horrible, unforgivable things, and he couldn't ignore his lust for power. He knew he would do anything to achieve his ambitions, and that his heart was flickering with the turn of dark and evil. But right now, he had another problem to deal with. He and the medicine cat apprentice of his Clan, Featherpaw, were having a forbidden love, and they had to hide things from everyone except the two she-cats who already knew, Sharptongue and Morningwhisker. And he especially didn't want his leader and mentor, Swiftstar, to find out, or he'd have to say goodbye to the forest within heartbeats. Both young, vulnerable felines had no idea what to do.
Weaving his way through the throng of cats, Vulturepaw approached Swiftstar, pushing the look of worry and doubt on his face away, though not without great effort. He dipped his head respectfully to the older black and white tom and waved his tail in greeting. "Hello, Swiftstar," Vulturepaw meowed, smiling in a friendly manner. "How's the preperation coming along? Is it almost time for the meeting to start?" He sat down and waited for his leader to reply. If he just acted calm, maybe no one would suspect anything, but it was hard to stay under control with this in his paws.

Darkstar still hid within the trees, awaiting the time. He watched the cats trip and tumble about for a while, then signalled with his tail for the four warriors he had chosen to run across to the Gathering island. The ShadowClan leader took the lead, and they gracefully ran across the log. He jumped silently onto the island, then proudly began to strut towards the tree in the middle. The black tom cast a curious glance at Vulturepaw, as though he recognized the apprentice's scent or look. He the words that the apprentice spoke. "We're still waiting for Griefstar," he growled, half to the ThunderClan leader and half to the apprentice. "Anybody mentioned to you where she might be?" -- Morningwhisker bounded across the log right after Vulturepaw, not noticing the ShadowClanners that were waiting for her to cross. She bounced off onto the island, and glanced around for any other warriors. Noticing Riverstripe, the golden she-cat purred and made her way over to the RiverClan cat.
"How's the prey swimming?" she asked the she-cat, eager for news about anything. Morningwhisker carefully sat herself down, and nodded respectfully to Frostpool.

Leopardstar lept up onto the Gathering Rock and waited for Griefstar, the WindClan leader, to join her and all theother leaders atop the rock. ------- Firepaw settled among many cats. She looked for any medicine cats to talk to. ------- Ivorypelt padded to Gathering. It felt wrong to go to Gathering without a leader. ------ Sharptonge settled her self close to the rock where all the leaders sat. She wanted to remain as close as she could to Swiftstar. ------ Iceclaw jogged after Darkstar. He took his place among many other cats.

Mudpelt watched the other cats as he sat down, his eyes were cloud with resentment, he was still filled with hate toward the dog who had left his dear daughter, Featherpaw, ingured. She was not here tonight and he hissed, it would have been great to see his daughter with the other cats, sharing news and herb ideas. --- Moonpelt was close behind her leader Darkstar. She was happy to be here and she was interested in all the news but she longed to be in camp with her newly found mate, Shadowfoot, who had been left behing to watch over camp.

Frostpool nodded to her apprentice and looked around, no other medicine cats were visible at the time. She knew the need to tell them her apprentice's dream was important. She hoped Firepaw would find another cat to talk to it about. She saw the golden ThunderClan she-cat come up to her sister and her-self, Frostpool nodded to the she-cat and followed her way closethe center of the meeting were she would take her place among the cats in the front line.
Riverstripe also nodded to the golden warrior of ThunderClan, "How's the prey swimming?" Morningwhisker asked. "Well, thank you Morningwhisker, and how is prey running for ThunderClan?" Riverstripe asked politely. She sat her-self down as well and looked as her sister left. She smiled, she was very proud of her sister, but she longed for their close bond to strengthen again, it had died down and they were father apart then they ever had been, leaving Riverstripe lonelier then her sister most likely knew.

Hawkflight stepped oto the log. I'm representing WindClan tonight and tonight only. she thought, nurovsly. As she walked across the log and stepped off of it, she noticed that WindClan was the last Clan there. She walked toward the leaders and bumped into Sharptounge, a ThunderClan warrior. "Hello, Sharptounge," the brown tabby she-cat greeted, "How is prey running ThunderClan?"
