Frostpool sighed, "Firepaw the feverfew was for Riverstripe. I knew Mosskit wasn't going to make it, not of fever but her lungs were to small, she was born to early and couldn't hanndle it like her siblings could." Frostpool said stroking the orange apprentice with her tail.

"Firepaw this was not your fault!" Frostpool said sternly. She stroked the young she-cat down her back with her tail many times, "A mouse can gather all the nuts it can find and still run out befor leaf-bare is over, it won't matter if the mouse thinks it was it's fault or not because it doesn't matter, the nuts have ran out anyway." Frostpool spoke gently and softly. her blue eyes stayed on her apprentice, she longed to show her that things happened and none of them could control it.

Frostpool rested her head onto of Firepaws, becoming even sleepier then she was a little bit ago, "Yes two died of green-cough and I had a fellow apprentice die after they fell out of a tree." Her voice was low and crackled with sorrow,"I thought it was my fault for so long, but my mentor finally got it through to me, I was so hard headed back then." She said her eyes beging to droop. She blinked then open and shock her head a bit. She stood up and stretched, "I should get those Dock leaves to Riverstripe, would you like to camo or go get some fresh kill" She saked while picking up the herbs in her mouth, making them dry and taste horrid in her mouth. She ignored it and started to walk out of the den.
