Coppernose padded out of the warriors den, his pelt fluffed out of the cold of leaf-fall. He saw a patch of sun, right next to the Longbranch. I better get it before Brackendrop sees it, he said, looking at his friend, still in the warriors den. After a few pawsteps, Coppernose sat down, enjoying the last few rays of sunlight.
Sunpaw saw Coppernose walk over to a small patch of sunlight. "Coppernose," he called, "will you take me on a patrol?" The ginger apprentice bounded over to the ginger warrior, his eyes dull from being confined to the camp all the time.

Moondrop looked toward Coppernose and Sunpaw and said, "Coppernose I would be willing to take Sunpaw out hunting."

Sunpaw looked at Coppernose, his face twisted. "Coppernose, please, Burnheart won't show me the borders, I've been an apprentice for 8 moons, can't you show the borders to me?" the ginger tom looked at Moondrop, flicking his ear scornfully.
Coppernose looked at Moondrop, then at Sunpaw. "I'll have to ask Brackendrop if I can," he told the apprentice, his crystals glimmering with ammusement.
Brackendrop padded out of the warriors den, looking around camp. Blackclaw was out on a patrol with Heatherbrook, and they should be coming back soon, Icepaw was looking borad, but then started bounding over to the bracken colored RiverClan deputy, and Coppernose, Sunpaw and Moondrop were sitting around a patch of sun.
"Hi Brackendrop," Icepaw said, "Can you take me and Sunpaw out to practice our fighting and hunting skills?" she asked, her tail twiching.

Moondrop meowed to Brackendrop saying, "Brackendrop could I take Icepaw and Sunpaw out to train them? Or could I simply watch for when I have an apprentice of my own."

Brackendrop sighed, tiredly. He had been busy assigning patrols and he hadn't had much time to hunt with Riverstripe. "Coppernose, will you take Icepaw and Sunpaw hunting along the borders?" he said, ears perking up as the enterance rustled and two black pelts broke through the enterance. "Blackclaw, Heatherbrook, what happened." the deputy demanded.

Moondrop asked, "Brackendrop can I go hunting with Coppernose?" Moondrop looked toward the tired deputy wondering what he felt. She feels so sad from that annoying Tumblepaw. Did Shadowclan not train apprentices to respect warriors?

"Go, stay, leave the Clan, I don't care what you do, as long as you stay out of thier way." Brackendrop said, his voice sharp and clearly agitated. Turning to Heatherbrook and Blackclaw, he waited for an explanation about why they broke through the enterance.
"Coppernose, wait," Heatherbrook meowed, as her freind stood up to leave, "it isn't safe out their, not even for warriors."

Moondrop stopped when she heard it was unsafe and asked, "Is it unsafe because of the Shadowclan cats stealing are prey?" If it was unsafe because of those cats she would go fight them to the death after what that apprentice said to her.

Burnheart padded up to Sunpaw, Moondrop, Coppernose, Icepaw, and a few others. "Whats going on? I heard it was unsafe outside camp, why?" Burnheart was eager.

Heatherbrook looked at Burnheart, her heather colored crystals wild with fright. "Something huge...attacked a...dove," Heatherbrook breathed, trying to steady her quivering body, "killed it... in a single....swipe of its paw."
"I don't want apprentices and warriors to leave this camp without notifying me and bringing two warriors with them." Brackendrop ordered, his eyes looking around the camp, "There will be no assessments of apprentices until we can confirm that this poses no danger to RiverClan

Thrushwing's heart fluttered when he saw Heatherbrook. He padded up to her. "What is going on?" he asked. The tabby tom blinked and smiled.

"What is going on?" a voice said behind Heatherbrook. The black she-cat flinched, her body still quivering from the fright that the animal had given her.
"Hello, Thrushwing," Blackclaw said, clearly relaxing Heatherbrook.
"Can I take two other warriors to fight the ShadowClan food sneakers?" Moondrop asked.
"No," Brackendrop hissed, his voice agitated, "I will do no such thing without Leopardstar's approval, and don't think about doing it on your own eather, ShadowClan is the least of our worries right now."

Thrushwing smiling weakly. "Are you okay?" he asked sweetly touching his tail to Heatherbrook's flank.
