Darkstar continued on. "Graykit, from this day forward, until she has earned her warrior name, this apprentice will be called Graypaw. Nightflower, you will be mentor to Graypaw. Mosswing was your mentor. I hope that all her skill and wisdom will pass through you to your new apprentice." The black tom paused. "Nightflower, you have done a lot for the Clan," he meowed. "Make sure your apprentice is the same."

Oak-kit shifted his wait back and forth angshusly. He had been relitvly quiet, and just could not wait. He blindely looked up at the leader, excitement burrning harshly in his unseeing eyes.

"Congragulations, Foxpaw, Specklepaw and Graypaw." Firepoppy purred to the new apprentices, knowing that she would probably get Ravenkit.

Oak-kit did not move, nor breath. Darkstar was takeing a long time... what if, he did not apprentice him! Oak-kit became very angshus. He could just berly conceel the angzitey of not knowing, the slim possibility that he would not be apprenticed for him being blind.

((Aw, shut your yaps, ShadowClan! And Firepoppy, think again. )) "From this day forward, until Tumblekit has earned his warrior name, this apprentice will be called Tumblepaw. Firepoppy, you will be mentor to Tumblepaw. Spottedfur was your mentor. I hope that all her skill and wisdom will pass through you to your new apprentice." Tumblepaw could barely conceal his excitement. The ecstatic apprentice almost ran down to his new mentor instead of the other way around, but only the wits that he still had left stopped him. He beamed radiantly as he leaned to touch noses with the red she-cat.

((I totally forgot about Tumblepaw, sorry ;D))
Firepoppy padded up to Tumblepaw, "You better be ready to train tomorro." she whispered.

"Don't worry," meowed Tumblepaw, a little louder than he wanted. He glanced around nervously and lowered his voice. "I'm always ready."
"From this day forward," continued Darkstar, "until Ravenkit has earned her warrior name, this apprentice will be called Ravenpaw. Ashpelt, you will be mentor to Ravenpaw. Stormwind was your mentor. I hope that all his skill and wisdom will pass through you to your new apprentice." He looked sternly at them, although their was obvious teasing in his whiskers. "Train her well."
Tumblepaw was so excited, even though he was already an apprentice. I wonder how excited my sibling are feeling! he thought exuberantly.

Ashpelt looked at his leader and dipped his head, he padded up to Ravenpaw and smiled, "Get good sleep tonight. You'll need it." he said and touched noses with her.

The black ShadowClan leader hesitated for a moment as he contemplated Oak-kit. The little kit was blind, but trained correctly could be a formidable source.
Pronouncing the words loudly and clearly to be sure that Oak-kit knew what was going on, Darkstar began to speak for the last kit to be made into an apprentice.
"From this day forward," continued Darkstar, "until Oak-kit has earned her warrior name, this apprentice will be called Oakpaw. Cottonpelt, you will be mentor to Oakpaw. Whitetail was your mentor. I hope that all his skill and wisdom will pass through you to your new apprentice." The black tom gave Cottonpelt a glowering glance which obviously meant, 'you are going to have a difficult time. Train Oakpaw very well.'
Another thing was on Darkstar's mind by assigning Cottonpelt to Oakpaw. The mentor would have to keep very busy to train Oakpaw, and would therefore be unable to visit other Clans.

Treeleg beemed proudly up at her kits. She looked at Oakpaw.... her blind kit.
