Swiftshadow looked at the RiverClan cats then at his clanmates, and saw that Iceclaw was giving him a dirty look that said, 'I knew we shouldn't have come!' but it wasn't his fault, he wasn't the one to decide if they went or not, 'why does everyone always blame me?' he asked himself.

Iceclaw blinked at Swiftshaodw. "Come on," he sighed and began to pad back to camp.

"So we're just going to give up?" yowled Tumblepaw angrily. He turned to Leopardstar, tail lashing. "ShadowClan is growing hungry, and all we ask is that you give us one or two fish. Do you want to see us die? Do you want to bear the responsibility of having destroyed one of StarClan's four Clans?"

Leopardstar's fur fluffed out. "How dare you talk to a leader like that! A mere apprentice!" her athorative voice barken angrily. Her tail lashed. "I suggest you run back to your mother before your Clan camp is in the stars," she threatened. The RiverClan cat whacked the apprentice's head with a paw.

Moondrop meowed to the apprentice, "You do not speak badly to a leader, Tumblepaw. You are a mere apprentice," with sheathed paws she claws her side. (sheathed means drew back right)

(Unsheathed means that the claws are out where they can scratch. Basically. >.> I'm not good with definitions.)
Tumblepaw was hit on the head from Leopardstar's large paw, which blew him over. The yellow apprentice fell onto his side and slipped down the bank, nearly into the river. He was stunned, but his large amber eyes gleamed with triumph at Leopardstar's anger. He glanced at the other ShadowClan cats, with a look that said, 'are you just going to let me fall into the river?' before he began to sway even more.
"I dare," he murmured before descending into the whirling waters. "At least my mother knows when to be sensible and when not to be... unlike your whole Clan."

Ravenpaw yowled when his brother slid into the water. Leopardstar stayed rooted to the spot. She could easily dive in and save the appentice but he had insulted RIVERCLAN!!! He fur was fluffed up with furry. "Save him!" Ravenpaw yowled.

"Raven-" choked Tumblepaw, trying to say his sister's name. Water filled up his mouth, however, and Tumblepaw instinctively reached out for a rock to cling to. The yellow kit shook his head, looking even smaller than usual with his fur clinging to him. "I'll be fine," he gasped, scrabbling for a better hold, but the rock was wet and slippery. Tumblepaw spat out the water in his mouth, took a deep breath, and prepared to let go of the rock.

Moondrop quickly jumped in the water and pulled Tumblepaw out. She sets him on the grass away from the rock and starts licking his side and face.

Leopardstar was about to leap into the river to grab the apprentice when Moondrop plunged into the water. She sighed. Ravenpaw rushed to her brother's side.

Moondrop looked toward Leopardstar and saw her about to jump into the river. She told Leopardstar, "Be a little quicker next time." Moondrop looks toward Ravenpaw and says, "Watch your brother around the river."

Tumblepaw coughed a bit, and shook his fur until it puffed out like a cotton ball. The yellow apprentice threw a horribly nasty look at Moondrop. The kit would much rather have drowned than admitted that he had been rescued by a RiverClan cat - a RiverClan cat who was hardly any older than him anyway. The yellow kit stalked over to the ShadowClan cats and huddled do, his usual happy-go-lucky personality disappeared. His little yellow eyes told Leopardstar that no matter what, he would not take back what he said.

Moondrop looked toward Tumblepaw waiting for a thank you but all she saw was hatred toward her and her leader. Moondrop asks Tumblepaw, "Don't you have something to say to me?"

"What?" spat Tumblepaw. "Thanks for ruining me? No, I don't think so." The yellow apprentice backed into the ShadowClan cats even more, and kept telling the warriors that if they wanted to go now it'd be fine in his head, but he knew that warriors were above apprentices - he could not tell them to go.

Moondrop asked him, "How did I ruin you Tumblepaw? Did I ruin you by saving your life? Well then fine. I wouldn't be saving your tail ever again." Moondrop calmly walks back to camp.
